Purchaser FAQ

Can I order a torque wrench for several different tasks?

The immediate answer is, no. On the other hand, the ones rolling over a pile of money can do whatever. Torque wrenches are specific for vehicles so is really not a good idea do try to fix and implement other kind of machines and systems that are not about your car/bike/motorcycle etc.

Using torque wrenches for other tasks will reduce the life cycle and durability of the tool, and this is especially bad when you buy top quality, expensive one.
What’s the difference between the torque head measures and the torque range?

A torque wrench can be quite long, but its head itself might be quite small. You always have to check both measures. The smaller the range of the head, the smaller will be the torque strength and range, like for motorcycles and bikes.

100% metal or rubber/plastic parts- what is the ?

While they are more traditional, 100% metal torques are not that easy to handle. Rubber handles, plastic covers and other anti-slip technologies will make it much easier to handle, especially because torque wrenches are in general heavy.
